During this Tall Ships Weekend Rendez Vous 2017, I thought I would have a boat story or two to capture your attention. They are coming soon. What captured me was Marie Webb’s story at the Sunday Handmade Market. Born with Down Syndrome and a diabetic she has had her challenges. Her creativity and the amazing support of family and friends is truly inspiring. She is an artist and a designer. All her designs are made in Halifax and finished in the fabric district of Montreal. Her art shows similar passions as Chagall and Picasso.
This fall she will be a special invite to The Emmys where she will display her scarfs. Karyn’s Cookies and Treats Fundraising is in the market raising money to help send her to The Emmy’s. Please go to Lemonade Stand Designs for more information. Come out and support Marie!
